The course is comprised of eight (8) modules that covers various topics related to case management.

  4. ROMA as a Framework For Case Management
  5. Conducting Family Level Needs Assessment
  6. Reporting and Evaluating Our Results
  7. Safety First
  8. Navigating Conflict

In this module we will  learn  about the intersectionality of Stress, Poverty, Scarcity, and Brain Development, as well as contrasting theories of Poverty


In this module we will explore elements of engagement and components to building an empowerment based relationship with families.


This unit will focus on using the ROMA, Results Oriented Management and Accountability, Cycle as a framework for case management.


Applying the ROMA cycle to develop action plans and deliver services designed to support families in achieving outcomes.


We will review the final steps of the ROMA cycle-Reporting and evaluating our results.


An overview of key concepts relating to safety in the provision of home visits.


In this unit we will learn about emotional  self management and emotional intelligence. We will revisit the impact of stress and the importance of boundaries, as well as identify resources for self care.
